On the occasion of the visit to Riga (Latvia) of Her Royal Highness a windowed Empress Great Princess Leonida Georgievna Romanova 23 - 26 May 2000, a famous Latvian Couturier ANNA OSMUSHKINA presented to Great Princess a memorable gift a unique handmade silk shawl, embroidered in mink fur and decorated with little gems and crystals. The shawl was designed and created by couturier ANNA OSMUSHKINA specially for her Royal Highness a windowed Empress Great Princess Leonida Georgievna Romanova in ANNA OSMUSHKINA FASHION HOUSE.

The shawl was presented to Great Princess by ANNA OSMUSHKINA at a state reception on the 25 of May 2000 in Rundale Palace. After accepting a present, Her Royal Highness noted, that the quality and the style of the shawl is worthy of level of Christian Dior and Coco Chanel. Her Royal Highness Leonida Georgievna favorable accepted an offer made by ANNA OSMUSHKINA to create a special dress for a windowed Empress Great Princess Leonida Georgievna Romanova adequate to her royal status.

Her Royal Highness expressed a wish to assist ANNA OSMUSHKINA to open atelier of ANNA OSMUSHKINA FASHION HOUSE in Paris and attend its opening.
