She was an innovator
during the time that's not fashionable to even remember now, and she
stayed that way until today, in the new European Latvia. She is -
fashion. She never tried to find herself in other venues. Since she
was five years old Anna began to draw and sew dresses for her dolls.
After graduating from the school of Applied Artistry in 1979 she
began working as a fashion designer in the then famous "Rigas Modes"
(to tell the truth the nostalgia is pres¬ent still). By year 1990,
Anna became the leading designer in "Rigas Modes", having created 20
per¬sonal collections. Then the talented Artist opens her own design
studio. Even back then she felt the time deficit, as the orders from
prestigious clients from Latvia and Europe were coming at fast pace.
